Ketchikan Indian Community Housing Authority (KICHA) provides affordable housing to moderate to low income American Indians/Alaska Natives (AI/AN) families of Ketchikan Gateway Borough.
KICHA develops new housing projects and programs based on the needs of the community. Programs include but not limited to affordable rental units, Home Buy Down grant program, Emergency and Elder Rehabilitation grants program, IGAP – Environmental program, Weatherization program for all income qualified residences of the KGB and the Tribal Transportation program.
Our newest home was recently completed. The 3 bedroom/2 bath home is an energy efficient, 5+ star home, with radiant in-floor heating, high efficiency appliances and lighting, and heating and ventilation system - all designed to give the resident a comfortable and affordable affordable housing option.
